How It Works
Buying
When a buyer clicks Buy on a listing, the item moves into a Pending state.
While pending, the seller and buyer arrange payment and delivery or collection directly between themselves.
Once the transaction is complete, the seller must confirm the sale by marking the listing as Sold from the User Menu > Selling page. At this point, the listing is permanently removed from the site.
If the sale falls through, the seller can instead choose Relist, which reactivates the listing so others can purchase it.
While pending, the listing is still visible but no other users can buy the item.
Listing Types
When selling, you can choose between two types of listings:
1. Grouped Listing
If you have multiple games and want a simple approach, choose a Grouped Listing. Upload a single image of your entire collection, and each game will appear under that image while also having its own individual listing. This option is only available if you are selling two or more games. You can also add up to 5 images to each individual listing.
2. Individual Listing
If you have separate images for each game, choose Individual Listings. Each game will show only as an individual listing, and they will not be grouped under a single collection image. This is ideal for sellers who have at least one image per game they want to sell.
Localisation
Your listings use the location set as your primary location in User Menu > Settings > Manage Localisation to calculate distances. Your listings will be listed in the country you set as your primary location.
Default seller preferences
From the settings page, you can set your default seller preferences, such as accepted payment types, delivery options, and whether your prices are negotiable, to speed up the listing process. These preferences are saved and automatically applied whenever you create a new listing.
Some details, like the game type (game, expansion or RPG) and the BGG link, are filled in automatically, so you don’t have to do a thing!
