How It Works

Buying

When a buyer clicks Buy on a listing, the item moves into a Pending state.

While pending, the seller and buyer arrange payment and delivery or collection directly between themselves.

Once the transaction is complete, the seller must confirm the sale by marking the listing as Sold from the User Menu > Selling page. At this point, the listing is permanently removed from the site.

If the sale falls through, the seller can instead choose Relist, which reactivates the listing so others can purchase it.

While pending, the listing is still visible but no other users can buy the item.

Listing Types

When selling, you can choose between two types of listings:

1. Grouped Listing

If you have multiple games and want a simple approach, choose a Grouped Listing. Upload a single image of your entire collection, and each game will appear under that image while also having its own individual listing. This option is only available if you are selling two or more games. You can also add up to 5 images to each individual listing.

2. Individual Listing

If you have separate images for each game, choose Individual Listings. Each game will show only as an individual listing, and they will not be grouped under a single collection image. This is ideal for sellers who have at least one image per game they want to sell.

Listing Address

Your listings use the address set as your primary address under User Menu > Settings > Addresses to calculate distances.

Viewing Listings from Other Countries / Changing Distance Address

When logged in, you only see listings from the country of your primary address . Switching countries isn’t yet supported, but you can work around this by adding a new address in User Menu > Settings > Addresses and setting it as primary. Switching your primary address lets you:

View listings in that country

Calculate distances from that address

Changing your primary address does not affect existing listings.

Default seller preferences

Set your default seller preferences, such as accepted payment types, delivery options, and whether your prices are negotiable, to speed up the listing process. These preferences are saved and automatically applied whenever you create a new listing.

Some details, like the game type (game or expansion) and the BGG link, are filled in automatically, so you don’t have to do a thing!
