La Loire

English / German. Set in the Loire Valley, France in the 15th century, the players are merchants and messengers. Using a clever system to control the prices of goods, and a road either side of the Loire, which winds through various villages, the players move along the roads trading, and delivering messages for profit. A clever mechanism limits the movement options - horses need to be acquired and dropped off, and if you get to the somewhat elusive circus you will be able to hire useful characters who let you bend the rules in an assortment of ways.
