Café International: Das Kartenspiel

Card game version of the 1989 Spiel des Jahres winner. Players seat customers of many different nationalities in a cafe so that they are at a table designated to their nationality, but they will also be next to other people at other tables. To win you must choose the right time to play your customers to score well, and also recognise when a customer is a liability and send them to the bar instead. Customer placement rules and a limited deck of table cards make customer placement interesting and add to the tactical possibilities. German version - English rules included.
