Dutch; English; French; German A beautifully produced game in which the players re-enact the spread of human-kind from its very beginnings. Each turn the current player either evolves and spreads a new tribe into a new area or moves one of their own existing tribes. The tribe pieces are very attractive wooden pieces which come in three colours, three heights (speed) and three diameters (strengths). Most moves will result in acquiring a benefit from the new territory which can be one of three types of cards or technology tiles. Bonus are awarded for being the first to reach new hunting grounds and take control of various straits of water. Rather simpler than your average civilisation game, but very clever and beautiful too.
