Kingdom of Solomon

Worker placement game set in the Biblical lands during the era of peace and prosperity of King Solomon. The map shows regions from Sinai in the south to Yamhad and Tadmor in the north. As King Solomon's governors the players use their workers to harvest resources from the regions, build buildings to claim regions and gain special abilities and VPs, build roads to improve future productivity and help construct the Temple for VPs. A neat idea is that you can assign all your remaining workers for the turn to one of three special spaces to gain a major benefit (such as fortune cards from the Ark of the Covenant, VPs and 1st player next turn from the Altar or lots of resources with a Tribute), but when to do this is a tricky decision.
