Excellent strategic game of trading and / or piracy in the Mediterranean. Reprinted as Mediterranee. Players represent a merchant family during the Renaissance and attempt to balance the needs of trading and open commerce versus piracy. Players create and send out a fleet of ships to trade various commodities around the Mediterranean while also keeping well manned ships to attack and defend against other players' fleets.
