Dutch; English; French; German; Italian. A game of intrigue and bluff in the court of Louis XIII where Cardinal Richelieu holds much of the power. The players can side with the Cardinal or against him (lured by the rewards promised by his various enemies) as each matter of intrigue comes up. The Cardinal will also hinder those who grow too quickly in power. At the end of the game military power, income, influence gained through intrigue and jewelry accumulated all contribute to decide the victor.
