The Halls of Montezuma

In this game, players are merchants, trading their cloth, beer and sugar for cash, with which they can buy wood, bricks, and even a miniature metal bell! These can be used for erecting buildings, or for donating to the church. The buildings provide various benefits, such as increasing the supply of goods, providing ships (needed to sell goods for cash), or providing instant cash or VPs. Donating to the church gets the player a multiplier which increases the VP value of their ships, buildings and/or donations, and more VPs can be gained by making the final donation and thus building the church (including its little bell). Players plot their turns on a rondel, so must plan carefully to have the right stuff at the right time. Recommended. UK postage flat fee £4 for 1st game, £7 for 2 games or more.
