Xanth

Fantasy adventure game based on the world of Xanth as depicted in the many books by Piers Anthony. This is a totally daft fantasy world and the books include more puns than most people can bear! Many of the puns extend to places, characters or events in the game. The game itself uses good mechanics used in many games since - eg. players get the chance to play monsters and unpleasant events on the current player to hinder their movement, but the nastier events can only be keyed to specific places or situations, so may never be playable, whereas weaker hazards are easier to play, but are less hazardous!
