Trapper

German edition. Novel tile collection game with the theme of collecting set of animals and fungi in the Canadian wilderness and returning with them in your canoe. The tiles are laid randomly face down in a grid, but so that orientation is random too. The trapper figure can then be moved around the grid allowing each player in turn to claim a tile, but with restrictions due to tile orientation. Deciding when to send a canoe downriver to be scored and claim a bonus is also tactical. A lightweight game which plays well and feels different. Recommended.
