The five battles covered are: Bibracte 58 BC, The Rhine 58 BC, The Sabis 57 BC. Bay Of Biscay 56 BC, Britannia 55 BC, Lutetia 52 BC. The game includes 840 counters (which include eight roman legions and ten tribes of barbarians), two double sided full colour maps. War galleys, sail ships and transports are also introduced. The battles follow Julias Caesar's military campaign across the Gallic region. The publisher rates the game as Medium complexity and High solitaire suitability.
