Boom Town

English / German edition. One of a limited edition of 1,000 games published by the inventor. Made by Ravensburger. Very high quality box, and masses of small wooden houses. The game is about property speculation in a new town of the 1950's. Players play their houses into various districts and then get a chance to add bonus giving facilities (tennis clubs, stables etc) or penalising properties (abattoirs, refineries etc) to these districts, but each player has an option to veto one play, and so some negotiation takes place to try to avoid tit for tat revenge plays... Further rounds of house placement and special building placement continue before the board is scored at the end of the game. UK postage flat fee £4 for 1st game, £7 for 2 games or more.
